Now that summer is in full swing, we’re finally at the place where all we want to do is to relax and unwind outside with a cocktail and enjoy beautiful balmy evenings. Here’s our three-step approach to summer cocktails that don’t disappoint.
Grab some El Guapo
There’s nothing wrong with a good ole’ gin and tonic, but sometimes it’s nice to mix it up. If you’re looking for a little cocktail hour inspo, check out the mixers, bitters, and syrups from El Guapo. They’re all handcrafted in New Orleans, locally-sourced, non-GMO, high fructose corn syrup free, soy free, gluten free, and vegetarian. So you might even say, these make your cocktail a healthy addition to your day! And that’s something we can definitely get on board with. Shop all el guapo.
Make sure your barware is on point
We’re firm believers that what you’re drinking is only as good as the glass around it or the shaker that birthed it, and therefore we know how important a chic bar set-up is to our imbibing. Start with a solid shaker that is sturdy, great quality, and makes a real statement both in your hands and on the bar. We love having a mix of vintage and new rocks and highball glasses. The combination adds dimension to your collection and gives it a curated, personal feel. And don’t forget the shot glasses for getting the party started. A great decanter and ice bucket round things out. These basics will get you started on your barware….just make sure they’re not too basic. Check out our selection here.
